Caroline Poggi was born in Ajaccio in 1990; Jonathan Vinel in Toulouse in 1988. They have directed a number of short films, both separately and together. The aesthetics of violence, weapons and the world of video games are found in their works, but never to the detriment of love, friendship, clan and family. In 2018, their first feature Jessica Forever was selected in competition at TIFF and in the official selection at the Berlinale. Two short film programs will be screened to (re) discover the personal and common worlds of the two filmmakers. A discussion moderated by Emilie Poirier will follow the screening of their co-directed films. With the support of UniFrance and of Consulat général de France à QuébecPROGRAMMECAROLINE POGGI + JONATHAN VINEL DUO3 films | 75 minTANT QU’IL NOUS RESTE DES FUSILS À POMPECaroline Poggi + Jonathan VinelFrance | 2014 | 30 min | vo française/staNOTRE HÉRITAGECaroline Poggi + Jonathan VinelFrance | 2016 | 25 min | vo française/staAFTER SCHOOL KNIFE FIGHTCaroline Poggi + Jonathan VinelFrance | 2017 | 21 min | vo française/sta
