Activities around Gastronomy theme at FNC2019.
With events, meetings and tastings, gastronomy is at the heart of this year’s activities. At the crossroads of visual creations and culinary arts, we promise a unique and surprising experience. Tastings of local and original products according to the themes of the 48th edition will be proposed in different Festival venues.Our goal is to create a bridge between the worlds of cinema and gastronomy through partnerships with Quebec chefs, restaurant owners, caterers and mixologists.

For Journées de la culture, FNC is proposing a meeting between Gastronomy & Cinéma. 3 discussions hosted by Nicolas Ouellet. Diverse experience, gastronomy will cuddle (or terrify!) participants' taste buds. Alambika's team will make horrifying cocktails in the colours and themes of the iconic saga. On the menu: special tastings and a breakfast to celebrate the end of the night.

For this holiday, marking the half of the Festival, nothing is better than a Thanksgiving meal (with vegetarian option) to gather all those who will be far from their home.
October 15, first at the theater Cinéma Impérial at 6:15 pm, then at Blumenthal restaurant at 8 pm - combined offer at 59 $ (tip included)
After the screening of Pedro Almodovar's Pain & Glory, Le Blumenthal restaurant's chef, located near Cinéma Impérial, will create, imagine and capture the film's atmosphere through a inimitable and sophisticated menu. Mead tasting and exceptional cocktails following the premiere of André Forcier’s film Les fleurs oubliées, come and discover the flavours of the film.
Throughout the evening there’ll be mead tasting, courtesy of Domaine Desrochers, and exceptional cocktails made by Alambika with Marie-Victorin gin and Subversives’ spirits. There will also be a tasting of Anicet honeys.
An evening with an environmental theme highlighting Quebec products crafted with remarkable finesse.
