Diego BRICEÑO

Diego is a Colombian-born media producer with over 20 years experience in the film, television and new media industries in Canada and abroad. Through his company Cuiba Media, he specializes in the co-production of crossmedia projects with a strong international appeal. He is co-founder and current president of Makila, a non-profit media incubation platform, and sit on the board of the Altercine Foundation which provides financial support to documentary filmmakers in the global South.

Arantza Maldonado Trejo

Arantza Maldonado has a Bachelor degree in Audiovisual Communication, from Complutense University in Madrid, Spain. She first worked as Assistant to Producers and Line Producer in some independent productions in Europe and in Canada. Later on, she joined Tungsten visual, a young production company where she collaborated as Line Producer in web corporate films, a short-film, (You’re driving me crazy) and an interactive webseries (Fréquences), finalist at Numix 2013. After her participation as an Associate Producer for the mobile game Modern Combat 4 developed by Gameloft, she returns to independent cinema at Faits Divers Média. In 2018, she produced her first feature documentary film Havana, from on high (Pedro Ruiz, 80 min.) Her various experiences in different audiovisual areas, enlarge her expertise and understanding of media production.

Rodrigo Michelangeli

Rodrigo Michelangeli is a Venezuelan filmmaker based in Toronto. He is the co-writer, cinematographer and producer of the feature film “La Soledad”, which premiered at the 73rd Venice International Film Festival. His short experimental documentary about student protests in Venezuela, "Bullets of Peace" premiered at the TIFF Bell Lightbox (Jayu Human Rights Film Festival 2014). Rodrigo obtained a BFA in Film Production from Toronto’s York University and subsequently co-produced and was co-cinematographer of the short documentary ‘The Changing Place of Making’ (Montreal International Festival of Nouveau Cinema, Grand Prize Winner IAFOR Documentary Film Award). In 2015 he participated in RIDM's Talent Lab and founded La Faena Films with Jorge Thielen Armand with the goal of making art-house films. Rodrigo is a Berlinale Talents, Venice Biennale College and Hot Docs Accelerators Program Alumni.

Luis Oliva

MODERATOR
A professional actor since 1999, Luis Oliva has developed a wide range of modes of expression. Following his roles in several drama series and films, and the release of his first musical album Monde in 2010, he studied documentary filmmaking at L'Inis in 2013. Since then, Luis has directed 6 documentary series and a unique documentary, while continuing acting, and music.

Jaime E. Manrique

Founder and director of LABORATORIOS BLACK VELVET, integral film management company. He’s the founder and artistic director of BOGOSHORTS and concept designer of the BOGOSHORTS Movement.

Claudio Zilleruelo Acra

Claudio Zilleruelo Acra, Artistic Director and Programmer of the Black Canvas Contemporary Film Festival, at the library of the Universidad de la Comunicación.

Camille Gueymard

After graduate school in film studies in the United States and Japan, Camille worked as international sales director for a Montreal based production company, attending several film festivals and markets in Asia and Europe. With more than 20 years experience in sales, distribution, production and international coproductions both in Montreal and Vancouver, Camille is currently Deputy Director, Business Affairs and Coproduction at Telefilm Canada. Camille traveled to China on several occasions. She loves cinema.
