Sofía was born and raised in San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas, where she had her first approaches to cinema collaborating with the San Cristóbal international film festival. She moved to Mexico City, where she currently resides, to begin her university studies in cinematography where she made her first short film, Beata Solitudo, which was screened at festivals such as Black Canvas FCC, FICMTY and in the National Palace of Mexico City. She currently works in different film projects.
A nun falls in love with the Head Mother of her convent and must face the tension, shame and punishment of her desire.
